Shakthar Donetsk provided the shock of the night as they overcame Manchester City 2-1 to book a spot in the last 16 of the Champions League at the expense of Napoli.

First-half goals from Bernard and Ismaily were enough to book a second-round berth for the temporarily homeless Ukrainian champions as Napoli fell to defeat away to Feyenoord.

Porto thumped last season's semi-finalists Monaco 5-2 to earn their spot in the knockout stages as Red Bull Leipzig slumped to a 2-1 defeat at home to pool-toppers Besiktas.

Liverpool topped Group E following a record-breaking 7-0 victory over Spartak Moscow at Anfield, a result that saw Sevilla confirmed in second spot despite being held in Maribor.

And Tottenham Hotspur easily overcame APOEL 3-0 to ensure they finished as winners of Group H ahead of Real Madrid, who won 3-2 at home to Borussia Dortmund.

The final line-up for the last 16 draw, which is due to take place in Nyon on Monday, December 11th at 11am Irish time, is as follows:
