Kieran Marty Waters re-signs with Cabo

Cabinteely FC have announced today that Kieran Marty Waters is to stay at the club for the 2018 season after a fantastic personal season for the former Shamrock Rovers man.

Racking up multiple personal awards, such as the PFAI First Division Player of the Year award, earning a place in the First Division team of the season, winning Cabinteely’s own Player’s Player of the Year award and Player of the Year award, the Dublin native helped Cabo to their highest ever League of Ireland finish.

Having aided Cabo’s cause with 15 league goals last season alongside his one FAI Cup strike, Cabinteely’s First Team Manager Pat Devlin has spoken of his delight at being able to secure Marty’s talent for another campaign.

"Marty is a fantastic player, I am delighted to have him signed for next season. His talent on the pitch is there for everyone to see, and off the pitch he is a brilliant character to have in the squad and a great example for the players in Cabinteely's underage teams to look up to."

In the face of reported interest from a number of other clubs as per the club’s press release, the PFAI First Division Player of the Year has had his say on getting the deal over the line.

"I am delighted to get it sorted and over with, from the get go the club have been great to me and I'm excited to get going now for the new season."
