Watch: A year ago, Ciaran Kilduff made League of Ireland history as Dundalk beat Maccabi Tel Aviv

It's exactly a year since Dundalk made history by becoming the first League of Ireland side to win a group game in the Europa League as they edged Maccabi Tel Aviv 1-0 at Tallaght Stadium.

Ciaran Kilduff was the hero on the day – as he was in snatching a point from the opening day trip to AZ Alkmaar – as he turned home Daryl Horgan's pin-point cross from the left.

Both players have since moved on to pastures new, with Horgan joining Preston North End and picking up international caps while Kilduff has set sail for Jacksonville Armada in the USA.

They'll each be assured of their place in League of Ireland history, however, Horgan's deft touch and Kilduff's flick ensuring the Lilywhites broke new ground for domestic football.
