FAI hint Aston Villa's Scott Hogan in line for first call-up

The FAI have strongly hinted that Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan is in line for selection for the crunch World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Wales next month.
An instagram post by the association depicted an Irish passport with the caption: “Available for selection.”
Manager Martin O'Neill has spoken in the recent past about his admiration for the English-born striker, who qualifies through his grandparents, as he made the decision to declare for Ireland.
Hogan has endured a mixed and injury-interrupted start to his season for the Villains, with just two EFL Cup goals to his name so far this season.
