Watch: Paddy McCourt reels in the years with outstanding solo goal against Sligo

Finn Harps slipped back into the Premier Division relegation zone with a last-gasp 2-1 defeat to Sligo Rovers on Saturday night.

If they do go down, though, they'll do so in style – that is, if the former Northern Ireland international Paddy McCourt has anything to do with it.

The Derry Pele reeled in the years with an outstanding solo goal to level the tie for his side inside the final ten minutes.

McCourt picked the ball up 40 yards out – statistically, where he's most dangerous* – and strode through four challenges before poking the ball past Shaun Patton in the Sligo goal.

If that description doesn't quite convey the gravitas of the goal, well, how about you sit back and let the video footage (courtesy of Soccer Republic) fill in the gaps.
