Watch: Former Dundalk man Richie Towell scores spectacular late winner for Rotherham

Richie Towell has had a frustrating 18 months since trading the League of Ireland for England, but he got off to a winning – and scoring start – on his loan spell with Rotherham United.

The Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder made his home debut for Rotherham a first-half substitute against Bury today and he nabbed a spectacular last-minute winner as his new club beat Bury 3-2.

Towell joined League One Rotherham on a season-long loan as he looks to get regular first-team football for the first time since leaving Dundalk and he'll have his chances no harm with this well-taken effort.

With the scores locked at 2-2 heading into injury time, keeper Marek Rodak punted a long ball forward that was flicked on by David Ball and Towell arrowed a low volley into the bottom corner.
