Kaleem Simon rejoins Longford Town after leaving Bohemians

Longford Town have announced that attacking midfielder Kaleem Simon has rejoined the the club following his brief stint at Premier Division club Bohemians.

Simon, who was a signing of Tony Cousins while Town were in the Premier Division, made 53 league appearances for the midlands club and scored three goals in the process during his previous stint at the club between the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Following Longford Town's relegation to the First Division at the end of the 2016 season, he made the move to Keith Long's Bohemians. Having made 15 appearances during his few months at Dalymount, Simon requested to leave after failing to register a league goal.

Simon is Neale Fenn's third acquisition since his arrival at the club following the recent arrival of Paul Finnegan from Cliftonville and Sam Verdon from St Patrick's Athletic.

Simon was a second-half substitute in Saturday night's First Division clash against Shelbourne at the City Calling Stadium, which finished 3-1 to the visitors.
