Wexford sign goalkeeper Danny Bolger

Wexford have announced the signing of goalkeeper Danny Bolger from Carlow club St Patrick’s Boys.

The 20-year-old net minder has previously had a trial spell with English Championship club Norwich City and arrives following the injury-enforced retirement of Graham Doyle.

Bolger is manager Damian Locke’s second signing this week, and his eighth of the summer, after the club announced the signing of Kerry native Adam O’Rourke on Monday.

They join recent signings AJ Lehane, Conor Dunne, Aaron O'Connor, Dean Kelly, Mikey Byrne and Aaron Dobbs in the new-look squad.

Wexford host Longford Town tomorrow night at Ferrycarraig Park as they continue their First Division campaign (kick-off 8pm).
