Following last week’s successful treble, ExtraTime.ie today handed over a three figure sum to the Sophia Housing Association in Cork.

The charity helps to deal with people at all different stages of their lives with bases in both Cork and Dublin.

The donation will go towards the introduction of night time activities for the people staying in their accommodation. They have three bases in Cork alone helping people going back to full time education right onto people trying to get their lives back on track after departing prison.

How the ExtraTime.ie Charity Bet works

Each week Stephen Walsh selects a treble bet and Paddy Power kindly enhance the odds. If the bet succeeds, all monies won are donated to the Charity of the Week. So far this year, ExtraTime.ie have raised over €2,800 for various charities following a charity abseil in Croke Park, along with the winnings of the other bets.
