Liam Donnelly departs Wexford due to work commitments

Wexford have announced that striker Liam Donnelly has left the club due to work commitments.

Donnelly signed for Damian Locke’s side at the start of the 2017 season after a spell with Drogheda United during which the forward experienced relegation from the Premier Division, at the end of the 2015 season, and then promotion from the First Division the following year.

The 26-year-old made his debut for Wexford in a pre-season friendly against his former club when his side took on The Boynesiders in February this year.

He went on to make 15 appearances in the First Division for the club this season.

Wexford continue their First Division campaign against their south-east rivals when they travel to the RSC to take on Waterford on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).
