Fans reminded to arrive early at Aviva due to enhanced security checks

Just like last Sunday against Uruguay, Irish fans traveling to the Aviva Stadium for tonight’s Qualifier against Austria are asked to arrive to the ground at least one hour ahead of kick-off (which is 5:00 PM).

Event organisers are seeking to up security levels at high-profile events in the Aviva Stadium and are advising fans to arrive a little earlier than normal.

Stadium officials are implementing new safety measures, which are as follows:

- Aviva Stadium Management are introducing a “No Bag Policy” to all events in the stadium.

- It is important that supporters do not bring any bags or rucksacks to the game.

- Searching procedures will be in place at all entry points and because of this it is advisable all supporters arrive a little earlier than normal.

- Extra Safety & Security measures will be in place at this fixture.
