Watch: Colin Bell reacts to wettest game in the history of Women's Football

Rumours that supporters had begun to build an ark in Tallaght Stadium last night might be an exaggeration but the Republic of Ireland's Women team battled against Iceland in an international friendly on Wednesday night in terrible conditions.

 

The game ended scoreless which is understandable considering what the players were faced with, but from an Irish point of view it was another clean sheet and another positive result against one of Europe's top sides as Colin Bell's team continue to gain momentum ahead of the start of their World Cup qualification campaign in the Autumn.
