Watch: Kevin Doyle goal helps Colorado Rapids to comeback win over Columbus Crew

He may not have made the final Republic of Ireland squad to face Uruguay Austria but Kevin Doyle was on the scoresheet for the Colorado Rapids in their 2-1 MLS win over Columbus Crew.

 

The Wexford man notched his third goal of the season ten minutes from time to put the Rapids on course for a comeback victory that nevertheless leaves them bottom of the Western Conference.

 

Doyle prodded home from close range following good work from Marlon Hairston down the right. Alan Gordon headed home the winner six minutes later.

 

Federico Higuaín, brother of Juventus and Argentina striker Gonzalo, had given the Crew the lead midway through the second half.
