Watch: Ireland come from behind to beat Turkey at Slovakia Cup

The Republic of Ireland under-18s reached the third/fourth place play-off at the Slovakia Cup thanks to a 2-1 comeback victory over their Turkish counterparts.

Jim Crawford's side fell behind to a first-minute goal as Turkey created an overlap on the right-hand side of Ireland's box and Muhayer Oktay drilled the ball low past Sligo Rovers keeper Edward McGinty.

Ireland had chances to level in the first half, and Shamrock Rovers' Dean Dillon linked up well with St Patrick's Athletic's Aidan Keena before the striker drove the ball just wide.

Ireland levelled eight minutes into the second half as Crystal Palace winger Kian Flanagan crossed for Cobh Ramblers' James McSweeney to bury his header past Turkey keeper Mehmet Ataberk.

And Stoke City striker Shola Ayoola sealed the win in the final minute as he got on the end of Cork City full back Alec Byrne's pinpoint cross before finishing with an excellent first-time volley.

Ireland finished fourth overall after losing 2-0 to hosts Slovakia in the play-off the following day.
