Watch: Second-half rout sees Wexford Youths past Kilkenny

Wexford Youths Women made it six points from six in the Women's National League courtesy of a 4-0 victory over Kilkenny United at the Watershed.

Claire O'Riordan and Kylie Murphy each bagged a brace for the visitors in the second half after the sides played out a scoreless first half.

O'Riordan opened the scoring eight minutes after the break as she took Jess Gleeson's pass with back to goal, rolled the defender and shot into the top corner of Trish Fennelly's net.

Half-time substitute Murphy doubled the advantage four minutes later as she headed Emma Hansberry's free kick past Fennelly from close range.

Hansberry was the creator again 12 minutes from time when she drove into the penalty are and shot across goal, where O'Riordan was on hand to tap in her second and Wexford's third.

And O'Riordan added an assist of her own three minutes later as she unselfishly played the ball square in the box for club captain Murphy to get her second to complete the second-half rout.
