Waterford moved clear at the top of the First Division after a late Patrick McClean goal sealed a 2-1 win in a top-of-the-table Munster Derby with Cobh Ramblers at the RSC.
The home side opened the scoring with just 12 minutes on the clock as striker Davy McDaid shot across the face of goal and Kenny McEvoy tapped into an empty net.
The Rams were back on terms eight minutes into the second half, however, as Gary Delaney turned any Ian Mylod free kick into his own net.
McClean was to have the final say as he glanced Derek Daly's free kick past Rams goalkeeper Paul Hunt to send Waterford three points clear at the top.
