Watch: O'Sullivan brace settles south-east derby in Waterford's favour

Waterford made it five games unbeaten thanks to a 2-0 win over Wexford in the south-east derby on Saturday evening.

Mark O'Sullivan scored the goal in either half as the Blues maintained their position at the top of the First Division, where only goal difference separates them from UCD at the summit.

A touching pre-match ceremony honoured the late Ryan McBride as Patrick McClean and Davy McDaid, former team mates of McBride's, led the team out in Derry City shirts.

The pair laid their shirts, embossed with McBride's number five, on the pitch in tribute before a minute's silence was observed.

On the field, McDaid was in the thick of the action as, with just ten minutes gone, he played in O'Sullivan to poke past Wexford keeper Graham Doyle.

And O'Sullivan secured the win midway through the second half as he rose to head home Kenny McEvoy's corner and send the majority of the impressive 1,647 in attendance home happy.
