Watch: Goals galore and controversy as Bray nudge aside Finn Harps

Bray Wanderers made it two from two with an entertaining 5-3 win over Finn Harps, but it was the officials who dominated the night with a string of controversial decisions.

Bray opened the scoring after nine minutes when Ciaran Gallagher dropped a Gary McCabe free kick and Anto Flood was on hand to put the ball into the roof of the net.

McCabe doubled the lead from the spot after Michael Funston was deemed to have handled the ball in the box although replays showed it to be clearly outside the penalty area.

Harps got back in the game when Jonny Bonner's free kick came back off the bar, and Ciaran O'Connor – the striker on loan from Dundalk – stabbed the ball home.

Bray restored the two-goal advantage before the break as the visitors failed to adequately clear a corner and from skipper Conor Kenna's sublime cross, Aaron Greene powered in a header.

Harps once again forced their way back in three minutes into the second half and again it was O'Connor who scored as his shot from close range was too powerful for Peter Cherrie to hold.

McCabe then got his second as Harps keeper Gallagher was down with a head injury after colliding with his own player, rolling into an empty net as referee Anthony Buttimer decided not to stop the game.

Harps got another goal back 15 minutes from time as substitute Paddy McCourt crossed for Ethan Boyle to head in off the post, but it was too little too late for Ollie Horgan's men, who remain without a point.
