Sligo Rovers unveil black away kit

Sligo Rovers are back in black after they launched their new away kit for 2017 at the Showgrounds on Thursday night.

The Bit o' Red will line up in their familiar red at home this season, but for colour clashes will default to the new black strip with yellow lining, as opposed to last season's white with red trim.

The kit is made by Joma Sport, and will be available from the club office and online from Friday morning at 10am, priced €50 for adults and €35 for children.

While it is a new kit for 2017, the away strip bears more than a passing resemblance to the club's third colours for the 2009 season, as noted by former goalkeeper Richard Brush.
