Watch: Ronan Murray double sees Galway United past Limerick
Two second-half goals from Ronan Murray helped Galway United to a 2-1 friendly win over Premier Division newcomers Limerick at Eamonn Deacy Park on Monday evening.
Former Ipswich Town and Notts County striker Murray netted twice in the final half-hour after Chiedozie Ogbene had given the Blues the lead midway through the first half.
Winger Ogbene started and finished a move with Rodrigo Tosi to score his fourth goal in four pre-season games since arriving from Munster rivals Cork City during the winter.
However, Murray latched onto a through-ball from fellow new signings Gavan Holohan to finish clinically and even up the scores midway through the second period.
And the former Republic of Ireland under-21 international settled the tie two minutes from time as a patient passing move ended with his taking Conor Melody's pass and finishing calmly past Brendan Clarke.
