Christy Fagan re-signs with St Pat's for two seasons

St Patrick’s Athletic have announced that striker Christy Fagan has signed a new two year deal at Richmond Park.

The news, which will see Fagan continue his stay in Inchicore until at least the end of the 2018 season, will come as a relief to all Saints fans after rumours linking their talisman with a move away from Richmond Park.

Fagan, now heading into his sixth season, with the Saints after arriving from Bohemians before the start of the 2012 campaign, will be hoping to get over injuries that has seen him have stop-start campaigns for the last couple of seasons in order to propel St Pat’s back up to the top of the Premier Division table.

Liam Buckley has been quite active so far this off-season, signing Gavin Peers and Patrick Cregg from Sligo and Shamrock rovers respectively, while Jamie McGrath, Ian Bermingham, Michael Barker and Conan Byrne join Fagan in re-signing with the Dublin outfit.
