Wexford Youths announce Damian Locke as their new manager

Wexford Youths have announced that Damian Locke has been appointed as their new manager ahead of the 2017 First Division season.

The 29-year-old had been a first team coach at Youths under previous manager Shane Keegan, who departed the club at the end of the season to take the managerial role at Galway United.

Locke has over ten years of coaching experience, including working with the Republic of Ireland senior team as a video analyst.

The club have also named Will Doyle as their assistant manager. Doyle, like Locke will be known to Wexford fans, having previously been manager of Wexford Youths’ Women's team, leading the side to back-to-back league titles in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.
