Noel Haverty re-signs with Longford

Longford Town have announced the signing of defender Noel Haverty for the 2017 SSE Airtricity League Season.

 

The 27 year old is the eighth signing for the Town this week, with seven players being announced by the club on Tuesday.

 

The defender originally signed for the club in 2012 and was part of the Longford Town squad that won the First Division title in 2014,  making 16 appearances that season.

 

Haverty left the City Calling Stadium at the end of the 2014 season due to work commitments, but the player returned to the club towards the end of the 2015 season before re-signing for the 2016 season.

 

 The midlands club have also announced another pre-season fixture to take place at City Calling Stadium with Alan Matthews' men set to take on Sligo Rovers on Tuesday, January 31st at 7:45pm.
