Kilduff ready to make his mark on FAI Cup Final

Ciaran Kilduff may be involved in a second Daily Mail FAI Cup Final in successive seasons but it’s a totally different setup this year for the former Cork City striker who has also spent time with Kildare County, Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick’s Athletic in his successful career to date.

Speaking with Extratime.ie reporter Tom O Connor at Dundalk’s media day, the striker stated, “Last year obviously Richie (Towell) had the headlines and he was flying. This year the goals have been more shared out in terms of the team. The goals are coming from everywhere at the moment. They’re being provided by a different player each week. The likes of Brian Gartland coming up with big goals at big moments, it just seems to be one of those years for us.

“This year obviously Cork have been the closest rivals. The two best teams in the country coming head to head in the final. It’s boding well for a great game and one I’m really looking forward to being part of”.

The game kicks off at 3.40pm and Live Updates can be found at http://extratime.ie/matches/detail/30128/1/
