Cabinteely seek new first team manager

Cabinteely have announced they are seeking a new first team manager ahead of the 2017 season.

The Dublin club have been managed by former Bray Wanderers manager since their admission to the league at the beginning of 2015.

Cabo finished bottom of the First Division in their first season of senior football and improved their position to seventh this year, finishing ahead of Athlone Town.

They are now soliciting applications both from the outgoing management team (it's not clear whether Gormley intends to return to his technical role with the club) and outside applicants as they look to move from an amateur to a professional set-up.

“Cabinteely Football Club wish to thank Eddie Gormley and his management team for consolidating the club’s position in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland over the last two years.

“The club will be advertising for the role of 1st team manager for the coming 2017 season and will welcome applications from the outgoing management team, but look forward to what other qualified, experienced managers are interested in building the next phase of Cabinteely Football Club with new investment and professional players in the SSE Airtricity League of Ireland.
