Wexford Youths sign intercounty hurling star Lee Chin

Wexford Youths have announced the signing of intercounty GAA star Lee Chin until the end of the season.

Manager Shane Keegan made contact with the Wexford native in an attempt to ease the injury crisis that has beset the club as they battle to avoid relegation in their first season at the top level.

Chin has experience playing all across the back four in junior football, but Keegan's preference is to play him at centre-half, where he's already lost the services of Ryan Delaney, to Burton Albion, and captain Gary Delaney to injury.

The 23-year-old has League of Ireland experience, having been a member of the Waterford United squad in 2011, making five First Division starts before returning to play with Wexford Bohemians.

Chin will be available for selection for Friday's home game against Bray Wanderers.
