Watch: Cobh Ramblers win handsomely at Cabinteely

Cobh Ramblers continued their push for a promotion play-off spot with a 3-1 victory over Cabinteely at Stradbrook Park on Friday night.

The Rams led early and led often as a brace from Stephen Christopher and an injury-time strike from Eoin McGreevy more than cancelled out Joe Doyle's second-half equaliser.

Christopher had Ramblers in front with less than three minutes on the clock as he got his head to Charlie Fleming's left-wing cross.

Cabo's record goalscorer Doyle tied things up before the hour as he capitalised on confusion in the Rams defence to stab past Paul Hunt.

But Christopher doubled his tally with a spectacular volley from the edge of the box, and substitute McGreevy sealed the win on the break deep in injury time.

The win takes Stephen Henderson's side past the 30-point mark obtained last season with eight games still to play.
