Hello and welcome to the Extratime.ie Sportscast. As usual Gareth O’Reilly is your host while Macdara Ferris joins him this week in studio. On today’s show we are delighted to be joined by former Athlone and Limerick CEO John O’Sullivan to discuss the war of words between Pats and the FAI as well as what Dundalk’s success means for the league as a whole.

We also talk to our Dundalk based reporter Tom O’Connor who ventured out of County Louth during the week to watch the Lilywhites in Tallaght Stadium on what was a famous night for Stephen Kenny’s men. Tom along with Dave Donnelly chatted with Gary Rogers whilst Dave and Macdara Ferris spoke with David McMillan and Dundalk captain Stephen O’Donnell following their fantastic 3-0 win over BATE.

Finally, Macdara Ferris was back in Tallaght on Friday night for Shamrock Rovers 2-1 win over Longford Town and he caught up with goalscorer Brandon Miele.
