The Sportscast is back after its midseason break with presenter Gareth O’Reilly joined in studio by his Euro 2016 travel companions and reporters Macdara Ferris and Dave Donnelly.

Our first guest this week is St Patrick’s Athletic goalkeeper Brendan Clarke as he talks about the Saints adventures in the Europa League and how League of Ireland clubs need to capitalise on these games to improve crowds.

Our second guest is Cobh Ramblers manager Stephen Henderson as he chats about his team’s push for a play-off spot, Limerick’s dominance of the First Division, his views on the League of Ireland structure and his family’s goalkeeping dynasty.

The studio panel also talk about the last few weeks of Irish teams competing in the Europa and Champions League and the upcoming games for Dundalk and Cork City in Europe.
