Extratime.ie is the leading provider of information on the League of Ireland. Established in 2008 and run as a volunteer driven portal, the enterprise has gained recognition domestically and internationally as a provider of accurate, innovative and timely news and statistics on the Irish domestic league and associated events such as international fixtures and non-premier league action.
The Editors and Contributors to Extratime.ie demonstrate their passion by providing their time on a voluntary basis. This voluntary status is contradicted by what is considered to be one of the most professional sporting reportage sites in Ireland. The reason this level of professionalism is so evident is that we are passionate about our football.

The portal is unique in the way it provides the fans with fresh daily content and live match updates supplied by voluntary contributions from professionally accredited journalists.
